Mutiara Taman Negara, Kuala Tahan

I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive buffet selection at Mutiara Taman Negara. The range of dishes offered catered to all tastes, making every meal an exciting experience. I particularly enjoyed trying different local dishes during breakfast and dinner, even though the quality could have been better. Still, it was nice to have such a variety at our fingertips.

The chalets at Mutiara are spacious and provide a lovely rustic feel, right on the edge of the rainforest. I loved waking up to the sounds of monkeys playing on my roof every morning! The cleanliness was up to par, although I slightly missed having a bit more light in the room during the evenings. Overall, a cozy sanctuary in the jungle!

The bathroom facilities in my chalet were functional but showed a bit of wear and tear. The shower pressure was not always consistent, which made it less enjoyable, but it was clean enough. A little update would go a long way to enhance the overall experience.

My children had an absolute blast during our stay, especially during the jungle treks and river trips. The activities are well-organized, and our guide was great with kids. They loved exploring and even swimming at the nearby spots recommended by the hotel. It's a fantastic family-friendly destination!
